changing background color

The code below has a RelativeLayout variable named mealLayout. Change the background color of this layout to green. Use the constant Color.GREEN.

MealActivity.java
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.widget.TextView;

public class MealActivity extends Activity {

  @Override
    private RelativeLayout relativeLayout;
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_meal);

        TextView foodLabel = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.foodTextView);
        TextView drinkLabel = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.drinkTextView);
        RelativeLayout mealLayout = (RelativeLayout) findViewById(R.id.mealLayout);
    }   relativeLayout.setBackgroundColor Color GREEN};
}

Insert your code inside the onCreate method and use mealLayout.setBackgroungColor instaead of ralativeLayout, again your constant color.green should be inside parentheses () like this (color.GREEN) witha small latter "c" on color

Change the last relativeLayout to mealLayout. Also put it inside the curly bracket of the oncreate method. like this:

mealLayout.setBackgroundColor (color.GREEN);

then put this statement inside the onCreate method within the { }
