Changing the background color in the fun fact app.

Hello, I'm working on the fun fact app. When changing the background color of the show another fun fact button, after running it, the button stops working. When I click on it, It doesn't do that quick flash as to show you clicked on it. I've tried different colors, restarting the Android studio app, clean and rebuild. Nothing seems to make it work. I can click the back button on my computer to go to the previous settings as it was before I tried to change it and it works again. Does anyone have any idea why this is? Thanks for any help.
