hey guys how is everyone?
I think this is a very important topic that needs to be discussed, I know that treehouse recommends webhosting for students, but I'm talking hosting for commercial, large scale projects
what webhosts do treehouse staff recommend?

Courses Plus Student 16,968 PointsThere's many hosting options available, built to suit large sites as well, companies like Media Temple, DigitalOcean, Rackspace, to name a few. With hosting if you talk to 50 different people you might get 50 different opinions, there's a lot of people out there that bash certain companies and others that love certain companies, at the end of the day I think it primarily comes down to personal preference and whether or not the hosting company gives you the utilities and services you are looking for, how good their customer support is, guaranteed uptime, and so forth.

have you had positive experiences with godaddy performance? I used to have a site hosted there and had to move cause I was experiencing horrific loading times, I have heard from many people having a similar experience with them
anyway I always considered them to be more for personal web pages or small projects, and that they wouldn't be suited for hosting large web applications
