Chrome dev tools acting weirdly..

In the chrome dev tools i sometimes have to reload the page so it can show what image is being displayed, Is that normal?Also it always display the medium square picture image never the small one.

It sounds like you could be using the responsive mode and that's displaying different screen sizes. In Chrome Developer tools, there is a small icon near the top left side of the toolbar that looks like a mobile device. Click on that icon to toggle out of responsive mode and see if that helps!
