close view controller scene in Xcode ?

Hi Ryan , many thanks, I've managed to work it out . It was the controller scene on the Xcode where the folders were .

There is a small square icon towards the bottom of the middle section I had to press to open and close it . Most of the other scenes open from the top right icons .
