CMS for small business?

A friend of mine asked me could I make him a website for his business.

He owns a garage and wants to easily be able to add new cars to the website when they come in and remove old ones once they're sold.

The cars will not be sold on the website, it'll only be used for people to check what is available without the need to driving to the garage.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what CMS to use for a website like this? I haven't used a CMS before so any advice and tips would be appreciated!

And just to note this is a side project to get me learning different CMS for anyone who thinks I'm crazy taking on this task.

Do you have a preferred language/platform? There are tons of CMS' out there that would be more than capable of doing what your friend is requesting :)

WordPress is an obvious choice, mostly because there's nearly no issue you will run into that someone else online hasn't also faced (and hopefully catalogued a fix for).
