It's still pretty much an outlier, there are probably 10 major cities in the US where that's the case.

I've had a couple interviews in that range just based on my portfolio. Transitioning from another career field, so my current CV is basically, 'I can do these things. No, really, look here'.

Now, I haven't actually landed a job, yet, but have had a few interviews in the month since the portfolio went live, and one of them was a second -- So I'm thinking... well, it SEEMS to be working.
