The line alert(answer); should be between the if brackets {}, same goes for the line alert{"JavaScript is the best programming language"); which should be between the else brackets {}

if(answer === 'JavaScript') {
  alert(answer);
}

else {
alert{"JavaScript is the best programming language");
}
