I am not sure what is causing the problem. I went through fine with this:

a[title] {
  color: darkred;
}

Could you paste more code or the particular problem? I am not quite sure what you are selecting.

it asks me this Create an attribute selector that will target <a> elements with a title attribute. Add a color property with the value darkred.

and my code is

a[title] { color: darkred;}

thats weird it worked now -.- thanks
