CSS CSS Selectors Advanced Selectors :nth Pseudo-Class Challenge

Code Challenge Clear Float

I do not know how to code for clearing the left float. Please let me know how to clear the float left. ---- float-left: clear; does not work. -----Thank you.

QUESTION: We want three floated images per row. In the media query, create a pseudo-class selector that targets the fourth img child element first, then every third img that follows. Then, add a clear property that clears the left float.

@media (min-width: 607px) { img { float: left; } MY ANSWER: img:nth-child[3n+4] { float: clear; } }

style.css
/* Write the CSS in the media query below */

@media (min-width: 607px) {
  img  {
      float: left;
  }
 img:nth-child[3n+4] {
      float: clear;
   }
}

Hi There Dale,

When clearing floats you use clear as it's own seperate property.

So instead of

      float: clear;

Use

clear: left;

Thank you.
