Code Challenge Engine timeout errors

I've been hard at work learning Sass recently (it's awesome), but whenever I get a task in a code challenge wrong, any attempts to recheck my work result in a timeout error to the code challenge engine. In order to progress, I have to refresh the page, copy-paste my code in the challenge, and skip through the steps.

Nothing happens if I always write the correct code. The challenge behaves like normal unless I write incorrect code, in which case I get the timeout error.

This hasn't been happening to me until recently--within the past couple days, I'd say.

It happened several time in the HTML CSS sections. I think it was all in this Unit "Text Editors and HTML" but may have also occurred in the one before. Thanks for the reply.
