Code Challenge Rails: Delete the params[:status] hash if it exists in the params hash.

Anyone had any luck with this code challenge? I'm stuck with the code I have below, syntactically it makes sense to me but getting the error.

params[:status].delete if params[:status].has_key?(:status)

This one worked for me Tony

params.delete(:status) if params[:status]

shouldnt this be:

params[:status].delete if params.has_key?(:status)

Thanks Jovani it worked for me as well. Looks like I was overcomplicating.
