Code challenges not working again

I've had a issue with this in the past, but it's currently not working again. It's not my connection as I connected to other sites and this forum fine. What is causing the problem? It's frustrating as I cannot continue until this is fixed.

This was happening to me for the first time last night when I was doing courses on my MacBook Air. I found that in order to force the code challenges to go through, I opened up another tab in Google Chrome and started doing random web surfing. For some reason, this works.
