Code does not compile - error CS0029

        {
            Console.WriteLine("Yay!");
        }

} This is my code, but it doesn't compile because of a warning and an error that I don't understand. Help please!!

Console.ReadLine() returns a string, and you are assigning that value to an integer variable.

Try this

int number = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());
