Code Oregon: Techfest NW update

It's a talent & exhibition fair. It brings technology companies & job seekers together. Last year's event was held at OMSI. (See www.techfestnw.com. You'll see 2014 info. They're updating their web site). This event will include an embedded career fair for Code Oregon students. Worksystems, Inc., WorkSource Oregon, Team Treehouse, & Technology Association of Oregon are sponsors. Thank you for this announcement, Kathryn. If I understand correctly, this is the job fair that I've been hearing about since I started the Code Oregon program in October 2014. I hope to have my Front End Web Development track completed within a month or so, and then I will start preparing for the job fair. I appreciate the update!

You're welcome. Yes, this is the career fair Code Oregon students have been waiting for! By the way, Techfest NW 2015 will be held at the former Washington High School, 1300 SE Stark St, Portland, OR in Revolution Hall. Capacity is 830 people. There's an article about the building on www.portlandtribune.com.

Thank you for the pointer - that's good to know. I wasn't aware that the Washington High School building had been remodeled - that's great news. Sounds like an ideal space for TechFest NW. I will definitely be there!
