Hi guys!
I was just wondering if someone here is doing Codewars.
I registered recently and I though it would be cool to create a clan/becoming allies with other Treehouse students.
It is a really amazing site, where you can practice coding through challenges, it's so much fun and I definitely recommend it.
I have a referral link that you can use to register, it will make us allies. And god knows, you need allies in codewars :P www.codewars.com/r/BFxb4A
I look forward to all your replies!

I don't really know anything about Codewars (looks like skills testing?) or why you'd need allies.
Are you able to explain the 'allies' part? Is it like people to help you out when you get stuck or something?
Cheers, :D

10,711 PointsHi, from what I gathered, you don't really need allies. I've been there for almost a month and never interacted with anyone and it's perfectly ok, I just coded my way through. But having that said, when you log in you have a list of allies on your dashboard and you can see they ranking and points awarded. I think it is a nice way to keep you motivated - seeing other people's progress. Plus, it is always nice to meet new people who are also learning to code or are coding for years and can potentially help you :)
And yeah, Codewars are basically just tasks and challenges that you need to solve one at the time. For every one you solve, you get points and you move up in rankings. The higher the rank, the more difficult challenges you'll get in future.
Hope that answered your question ;)
