Collaborate with Front End Developers

Hey Everyone,

We all know how GREAT TreeHouse has been to us.

If you've been fortunate enough to have TreeHouse reach out to you or maybe they haven't had the time.

They want us to:

  1. Go on to work on great projects
  2. Have great careers.

It starts with a support group and a team. I am reaching out to find a team that wants to work on projects together play to our strengths and see what we are capable of.

This is a great idea! I'm very interested in collaborating on a project and lending a hand wherever possible. I'm personally more focused on front-end development. I like designing interfaces the most but I've also made a couple WordPress and lots of work with SQL databases. I requested an invite to the event!

I’d be happy to get accepted to the group. I’ve been looking around to be part of group with similar interest in front end development.

As for my skills on the front end, at the moment I know how to write HTML and CSS, and gravitating towards Javascript. I may be newbie at the moment but I have a lot of time and enthusiasm towards this, and am working relentlessly to turn my areas of weakness to strengths! I’d make a great junior front end developer :)

Outside of web development I know photoshop, illustrator, photography and illustration. Maybe I could do some illustration for you? If you are interested seeing my work, please accept me in the group and I’ll share a link. If you decide not to like my work you can boot me out, no hard feelings :)

I also understand that I may be a good idea keep the group size rather small and compact. If I don’t fit your needs yet, maybe sometime later then.

That is a fantastic idea and more people should form such groups. Maybe your forum post will start a new trend ;). I used to have a coding buddy like that, but he recently started working as a junior developer, so he no longer has time for those training sessions and has a lot of opportunities to code at work, so I can't blame him, I want to join him in his new work in a few months. If you're looking for a back-end Rails partner (who also know his way around HTML and SASS/CSS if need be), you can count me in. I need to work on my two weaknesses in particular: Rspec/Capybara and jQuery.
