Color shorthand?

I'm still not really grasping how the Hexadecimal shorthand can be used...is it only in cases where the color you're using is a single digit? (i.e. #fff or #888)

1 Answer

You can use shorthand when the digits are repeated:

334455 = #345

123456 = cannot be made shorthand.
