Colour of the text not changed

it is giving me an error that, Failed to convert @android:colour/white into a ColourStateList and in the next line of the error message it is written Expectation details are logged in Windows > Show View > Error Log

I believe you just need to change colour to color to match the American spelling of it. :-/
