3,941 PointsI'm not sure what your HTML mark up is but you may need to use a {clear: both;} or {clear: left;} on one of the the columns. Also try setting a different background-color for each column so it's obvious where they are on the page.

3,941 PointsAh ok so the problem is that your HTML doesn't have any tags and ID or class attributes. This code should work
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<style type="text/css">
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
/******************************* TWO COLUMN LAYOUT ********************************/
#primary { width: 50%; float: left; }
#secondary { width: 40%; float: right; }
/******************************* PAGE: PORTFOLIO ********************************/
#gallery li { width: 28.3333%; }
#gallery li:nth-child(4n) { clear:left; }
}
@media screen and (min-width: 660px) {
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div id="primary">
<h1>Carlo Ferrara | Insurance Guy</h1>

<div id="secondary">
