Personally, I use .co.uk for my domain (there's also .uk) as it tell people instantly that I'm UK based

Courses Plus Student 9,058 PointsYou can optimize your web site for SEO that the domain name would have little impact on the over all of people searching in your area. In fact content matters more in SEO than the domain name.
In general, I prefer to use .com's because they were first and people assume the standard. However, finding a good one (easy to remember, not too long, doesn't have to mean anything per se ) gets harder and harder with all the squatters.
Should have kept paying for infosmash

Im buying a domain name from godady if that has anyy difference.
But ill take what you wrote in mind . .com is first , thats true ! I might actually do that .

Treehouse Moderator 91,254 PointsI'm not an expert but I would think .co.uk would be better for SEO and targeting local clients.
You're welcome. :)
