damn. i was waiting long.. 3-4 months still no subs.. how i can working at guiz if i cant hear because i am deaf. i need to subs. come on.. you have my money for free.

16,593 PointsThis is not good, especially when a lot of the Treehouse videos mention accessibility, this is a huge failure. Do you have a list of the courses you are running into where there aren't CC provided? Maybe if we can start compiling a list, we can convince someone to get these going.

4,114 Pointsya.. they dont listen even to us. i bet a lot people wont back again if they dont put subs. i understood that newest video cant be subs just max 1 month or weeks to create subs but it is been 2-3 months to wait. it is important info for me. still nothing.

8,772 PointsHey, months late to this – we're really sorry about this thibaultv – those videos should be captioned in 2 days. It looks like the first 2 videos in this stage were missing captions.
Unfortunately, we need to figure out some way to get missing closed captions on our radar besides having students report the issue in the forums. Mostly, when captions are missing it's user error on our part – though there can be API issues that cause the problem too.
We really do try to have all our content subtitled, so it's not a conspiracy where we're trying to avoid it. Everything on our website should be available with captions.

16,593 PointsIs there a way for videos without CC to have an easy way for users to notify staff of the issue? Such as a "Request Closed Captions" button that would send an email to the proper people?

4,114 Pointsi agree with Luke Pettway, it is good idea and also add which course shows to have finish CC which not. also for non-premium they can check if course finish then buy 25 dollar for month.

8,772 PointsHey Luke Pettway and thibaultv it truly is an exception when courses don't have captions. We pulled a query for courses that didn't have captions yesterday and it was a small list that included a couple WordPress and Ruby courses. All the outstanding videos have since been submitted for captions and should be finished in 1-2 days. While we definitely want people to let us know where there are areas to improve, as far as captions are concerned we really need to build an internal tool that prevents videos from appearing live without captions.
