These are the changes I'd make, (note though that I am by no means a designer):

  • Lose the coloured backgrounds on the divs on your CV page.
  • Lose the <hr> between the social network links on your home page and just increase the margins between them.
  • Maybe use a border radius on your picture to make it circular.
