Common industry software and process?

While I am still pretty new to writing code, I come from a graphic designer background, and am currently working on four websites (one for each of my businesses as well as a portfolio). I used Muse to plan them out, but I don't want to publish with Muse, I want to actually write the code. I've also recently been trialing Macaw because of its semantic code with a visual focus. I was wondering what the general process for a seasoned designer/developer in the industry would be and what softwares are most commonly used for each step. For planning, I like Muse and the rest of the Adobe suite, and for writing code, I really like Sublime Text. Do professionals actually use things like Macaw or Dreamweaver for the best of both worlds?

Hi Michael, software similar to Macaw are in their early stages of development. Therefore, I don't think a lot of developers are using them in their full workflows just yet. I would recommend some of the workshops and bonus content below, as well as some other resources from around the web.
