communication problem in USE EMPTY STRINGS TASK

There is very small code challenge for the use of empty strings in the course build an android app. But when I click Check Work it shows a prompt message "There was a communication problem". This is happening from past 10 days. Any help available. It's a strange and ridiculuous kind of a situation.
