Compilation Errors in "Build a Blog Reader Android App > Rebuilding from Scratch > All About @string Resources"

I love this place the way of learning is awesome and gets you to test out what you learn immediately. With that said I am running into some bugs (which I'd love to help iron out if anyone here is looking for a QA tester ^_^) Anyway I am working in "Build a Blog Reader Android App > Rebuilding from Scratch > All About @string Resources" finishing up the challenge. I've seen bugs here and there but I never thought to submit them. Here is what I have so far (BTW this is running in Chrome, until this post I didn't think to test the other browsers....yest):

  • Sometimes I have to switch between the java and XML view (without changing anything) in order to proceed, otherwise I get a compilation error. This happens across tasks.

  • Spelling error on task 3/5 "instaed" should be "instead"

Thanks for the feedback, and good eye for detail! The typo has been fixed and I have emailed our support team about the problem you're seeing switching files.

We can't reproduce this issue, so perhaps it was fixed in an update to the code challenge engine. Let us know if you see that or anything like it again!
