Compiling error leaving me confused

Introductions.java:8: error: incompatible types: String cannot be converted to boolean            
      String firstName = console.readline("What is your name?  ");                                
                                                                 ^                                                       
Note: Some messages have been simplified; recompile with -Xdiags:verbose to get full output

This is the error I am getting I'm really confused and unsure of why I'm getting this. I'm fairly new to coding past a tiny bit of JavaScript, Jquery, HTML and CSS so as far as I know it was something small I missed, but I thought I typed it out the same as the instructor?

Though the error message doesn't make sense, the error is in the method name. .readLine() has a capitol L:

        String firstName = console.readLine("What is your name?  ");
