Complements to Treehouse (Code School, Bloc, Thinkful, etc.)

Hi all,

I posted a question earlier today about how well Treehouse does in regards to the building of one's portfolio (again, thank you very much to those who responded with very helpful answers). I wanted to pose a follow-up and hear everyone's thoughts on the following:

I'm beginning a career change and looking to find the best resources to learn new skills in front-end development. Initially, I'm very impressed with Treehouse and plan on continuing for the foreseeable future. I was thinking of supplementing my learning at Treehouse with other online options, such as Code School (which I've read is a bit more advanced). Alternatively, I'm researching more formal mentor-based programs such as Bloc or Thinkful. Does anyone have any opinions regarding those programs? Certainly, Treehouse and Code School are more affordable options. I'm curious to hear if anyone believes that the investment into Bloc or Thinkful is worth it.
