Well, it depends on if you want to round up or down.

In your example, 5 / 2 will equal 2.5

If you do not have any prejudice over which way your number rounds too, you can just use 

Math.round(5/2) // returns 3

Math.ceil(5/2) // also returns 3, but Math.ceil() will round up

Math.floor(5/2) // returns 2, floor rounds down
