Completely lost on this question.

If i named my name as a variable in the first step.

name = "Jason"

The second step wants me to add another variable of "favorite_food"

name ="favorite_food" and name it ?

Completely lost.

No, it wants you to create a new variable called "favorite_food" and assigned your favorite food to it :)

gloria nailed it. They want something like:

name = "Jess"

favorite_food = "Bacon"

Ahh thanks, IMO the way the question is worded is extremely confusing.
