Conditional Expression

I entered "if ( value < 0 || value > 20)" and still the user can enter 25 without having an exception, is there something wrong with my logic?

Program.cs 
int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

try{
    if (value < 0 || value > 20);
   }
   catch(System.Exception)
   {
   Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds");
   };

Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));

You have the right idea, but there's a few bugs here:

  • the original WriteLine that prints the non-error message should be inside the try block
  • you forgot the exclamation point ("!") at the end of the error message
  • you removed the part of the code that actually throws the exception

Remember the challenge gave you this to start with, don't delete any of it:

if (value < 0 || value > 20)
{
    throw new System.Exception();
}
