Confused.

I have no idea whats wrong, also I cant seem to understand what a public method seems to be and what is the point of the member variable or "mColor". Thank you in advance :)

You must put your method inside of the class or Java will think it is a separate thing :)

public class GoKart {
    public String mColor = "red";

    public String getColor(){
        return mColor;
    }
}
