'Console' does not open on Chrome?

Have been having troubles for several topics in succession now.

When I launch the console on chrome, the new window appears blank. Am able to launch it in IE (yuck), so clearly it is something with my chrome settings, but hadn't had any difficult up until the last few weeks/few topics.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried clicking view > developer > Javascript Console ?
