consule problem

hello , i have a problem with the console whenever i use the irb , it dont return anything for example when i create hash and hit enter it give me nothing !!
treehouse:~/workspace$ irb
irb(main):001:0> hash = {"ahmed" => "koura }
irb(main):002:1"
