Content Suggestions - Track Challenges/Projects

I'm always looking for a way to practice what I've learned here and I thought it would be a great idea if Treehouse were to suggest certain practice exercises as they relate to each track. I know there is extra credit in each one but this would be in addition to that.

For example, after I finished the Rails Development track, maybe suggest some projects to try out to build my skills even more. We could even have discussions about how we implemented our projects.

Anyone else like the idea?

I agree and many others including me have given the same suggestions of Practice Projects. If Team Treehouse believes in democracy then it should be on it's way on developing these practice projects as many have posted the same concern again and again. For now I would suggest using w3schools and code academy alongside team treehouse for practice purposes.

I feel that the Forum is mostly for asking questions, so a place where we could discuss what we learn here at Treehouse (or anywhere else for that matter) would be awesome. We could share knowledge, maybe show others stuff we are working on and get feedback or simply have real discussions about the technology we use. I don't think the Forum is the right place for such things.

So yes, I like your suggestions (not just the discussions, but the extra projects too.)

Awesome, thanks James Barnett . I'll definitely be doing some of these projects and I have a buddy at work that is looking for someone to pair up with on some fun projects too.

Thanks for the great suggestion! We hear you loud and clear, and this is something that's in our product and curriculum roadmaps.
