Conversion of a website to JSON format

Hi, I have just been learning Android development. JSON seems to be the best method to parse data from a website. But, how about websites for which I dont have the JSON URL? Or websites that dont use JSON at all?

In short, take any site (say cricinfo.com). How do i get and parse data from this site?

Thanks and Regards Sid

The love for cricket never seems to take a back seat for us :) . A rather thoughtful example website.

As for your question I'll redirect you to another forum chain in Treehouse with the similar content. It's been asked under the iOS category, but the topic itself is very generic and a very good answer by Roger. Hope this will help you get started.

Cricket is definitely a passion in India. cricinfo.com being one of the most frequently visited websites, it just came up to me as a thought.

Thanks for pointing me out to the other blog post :-) Definitely a good read.

Cheers Sid
