Converting a basic html website into a Shopify site

I've built a website to display my friends art. It's my first real-world project and we are really looking forward to get it connected to an e-commerce platform.

This is the site: www.truthpatterns.com

Im based in Estonia and we actually have a local Liquid based e-commerce platform www.voog.com , so i'd rather use that solution.

But during the last few weeks, i've rather been frustrating myself. Does anybody have some good article how to convert a simple existing website into a shopify theme? We want to keep the whole look and feel of the page.

Looking for any sort of help. Maybe there's a better solution than shopify afterall?

Thanks, Kaspar
