converting integer into a string

how can i convert the integer random number into a string i keep getting errors, were am i going wrong

RandomTest.java
Random randomGenerator = new Random ();
int "randomNumber" = randomGenerator.nextInt(10);
"intAsString" = randomNUmber + "";

only string can be enclosed with " " not integers The moment you add a string with a integer both become a String

Looks like your biggest issue is your variable names are in quotes. You also miss-spelled randomNumber:

Random randomGenerator = new Random ();
int randomNumber = randomGenerator.nextInt(10);
String intAsString = randomNUmber + "";

Random randomGenerator = new Random (); int "randomNumber" = randomGenerator.nextInt(10); "intAsString" = randomnumber + "";
