Short of asking for a specific Copyright Basics course for my home country (United Kingdom), I just wanted to ask if to peoples knowledge much or all of the law on copyright is the same in most countries, or if it's not worth me doing this course.

Treehouse TeacherA) I am not a lawyer so take this for what it is worth.
B) I think the course would work well for most people regardless of country to get the general idea of what copyright is and is not. The course does cover some items which, I believe, are rather US centric like time periods for various copyrights. While some of the specifics may be consistent internationally, I would certainly want that specific information for my home country.
Overall I thought the course was good. As the title states, it is a "Basics" course. Good info to start with and get your feet wet, but hardly a comprehensive Harvard Law School course on copyright.
