core data: assigning tableview header section's title to a date from an entry and grouping it

I found an example https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/samplecode/DateSectionTitles/Introduction/Intro.html

I have been trying to translate it, seems like I am unable to. Please help me, I really need to know how this work for my project ;c

I am able to display entries in a row but I want it to be grouped by the date it was entered.

what should I enter here
