So basically I'm coding a personal project. I've decided to challenge myself. I want to make a search bar on the homepage where users can input their city/town to find events near them. It will be my own database. I have four questions:
1) Is this possible with the Google Maps API/Any other API (preferably free!)?
2) If it is not possible with an API, how would I go about it in a nutshell?
3) What languages would I use to do this?
4) What treehouse courses would be relevant and aid me in programming this?
