I'm working on a site for a family member and I just wanted some feedback on the layout of it. It's by no means complete, but the layout is where I want it in my opinion and just wanted some feedback on it.

Is there too much white space on larger screens or is it fine since that background of the site is an off white color instead of blinding the user with bright white?
There's a mobile and tablet version of it as well so if you don't mind resizing to see those, I'd be thankful.
TL;DR
Does the layout/colors look ok? Few placeholders and nav needs to be worked on for mobile.

1,918 PointsPure flexbox yes. Though I think I'm over using flexbox =/. This is usually how far I get on a project before deciding it looks like shit and move on to something else because everything else I see looks so much better =/.

It doesn't matter. It took me 5tries to get a feel of a design. Now I'm happy with the design I'm making.
