Could someone help me out with this seconds alive code?

I'm not sure what's wrong.

Thanks. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Sean,

The problem is with your first string in document.write()

document.write('And I've been alive for ' + secondsAlive + ' seconds');

You used single quotes to enclose the string but you also have a literal single quote as part of your string.

You either need to escape the single quote or enclose the string in double quotes.

"And I've been alive for "
// or
'And I\'ve been alive for '
