Count function

In the library database, how many books are with the genre of "Science Fiction"?

Alias the result as scifi_book_count.

The books table has the columns id, title, author, genre and first_published.

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM books WHERE genre = "Science Fiction" AS scifi_book_count;

What am I missing?

I think the as "science_fiction_book_count" is in the wrong place. I believe it goes after the column you are selecting.

Thank you! I worked it out just after posting the question. SELECT COUNT(genre) AS scifi_book_count FROM books WHERE genre LIKE "Sci% Fi%";
