I was wondering if there is a course on how to generate money with your android app? I know you can just charge for your app but what about how to put ads in your app? which are the best ones and how to go about contacting the right people to do so...
I couldn't find anything on this anywhere here, not to say that it's not there (I just can't find it :)... Cheers!

I haven't seen a course covering this within Treehouse - I suspect that it may be difficult for them to recommend whose adverts to use in your app.
If you have a look through the Android Developer documentation, there are some guidelines that may help you, here. And this looks like a useful resource too.

It's not really something that would make a great course really as like Steve Hunter said it would be difficult to make it relevant to everyone.
However, maybe repost to the forum asking for tips from the community? There are hundreds of people who would recommend and give tips on how to monetize your app.

6,214 PointsI would also like to see something included in this here. I've done the PHP track and it shows you how to sell products using Paypal. I understand that it may be difficult to do this with advertisements, but I think it is leaving out a major feature of Android to not cover monetization. In-app purchases is one thing you could cover, also how to offer a free version of your app and an upgrade to paid version would be useful, as freemium is a common model.
