Treehouse Guest TeacherThis is absolutely on the list of topics I'd like us to cover. If you are interested, do you have any specifics you'd like to see covered in a potential course? I could see us covering things like:
- what is GA? what does it measure/not measure, what it works with (Webmaster Tools, Adsense, Adwords)
- organic vs. paid traffic
- Audience category of data, what does it measure, insights, etc.
- Acquisition category of data, what does it measure, insights, etc.
- Behavior category of data, what does it measure, insights, etc.
- Conversion category of data, what does it measure, insights, etc.
- Segments and how to dig into your data
- Reports, and basic strategies to improve your analytics
Am I on the right track here? What else would you like to see? Any "must have" content?

I would like to see pretty much any info on how you can setup GA (beyond the "default" setup) for a website to get meaningful data that you can use to improve your business. I think it would be sweet if you setup an example site for GA in the course, specifically an e-commerce site, and show us some example goals we could add. Then give us some suggestions of things we could do to improve the conversion of those goals.
Also discuss what a property is, what a view is, etc.

7,243 PointsIs Treehouse any closer to getting things moving regarding a module in analytics?
Dan Gorgone
Treehouse Guest TeacherHi Gareth, can't say exactly when it will happen, but it's absolutely on our list of topics to cover. There's a lot on that list, though, so thank you for being patient.
Until then, I hope everyone has at least considered adding GA, if not added it already. If you aren't yet tracking your data, please review this documentation from Google on how to do it. You can even track Mobile apps now, so it's worth it.

4,317 PointsIs there any plans to give an updated course on Analytics from a developer/ux point of view?
Would love a tutorial on how to set up goals , tracking , how to rank for certain key words and what scripts need to go into the webpage to say track an individual button for clicks etc
Thanks Andrew
