Courses Plus Student 26,985 Pointscourse versus course_id
For the example of steps and courses, we have a "course" field in our Step model, which is saved in the database as "course_id", which is a standard way to show that a field is a foreign key to another table.
Why is the database column name used instead of the attribute name in the model?
i.e why is it "course_id" instead of "course", or would course also work in this case?
Thanks
