Coverage - Python - Not reconized (Windows 10)

I installed coverage with pip on my Windows 10 laptop

( pip install --user coverage )

It said it installed.

Python and pip work fine. The main folder path for my python35 is in my executable.

I'm getting a console error of:

coverage is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I haven't been able to find anything online about the issue or how to correct it.

Thanks for any help.

This will give you directions on how to properly install Coverage. They link to needing the setup tools provided at this location: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/setuptools before you can get started.

If this does not work you need to specifically look for its command like environmental variable that you set up in system.

Hi do You have Python 2 installed as well? I had the same problem (also Windows 10) but "pip3 install coverage" fixed it :)

I had 2 installed, but it's since been uninstalled.

The Coverage.py files are installed. I verified it through cmd line and also looking at the files.

Still says coverage is not reconized as a command.
