Java Java Objects (Retired) Harnessing the Power of Objects Helper Methods

create new helper method in same file? Dunno.. totally lost here.

Completely lost trying to create a new helper method.

In the video this was created in another file but only have one option here.

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }
  public boolean isBatteryEmpty (){
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  GoKart isFullyCharged = new GoKart ("");
  if (!mBarsCount.isFullyCharged){
   return true;
 }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public void charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_BARS;
  }
}

Hi Bryce,

Try this out

public boolean isFullyCharged() {
  return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
}

You'll want to return true if the go-kart is fully charged. So if mBarsCount equals (==) MAX_BARS the method returns true.

Good luck!

perfect that worked fine. thanks!
