After 5 long months of hard work, perseverance, time spent looking at cute animal pictures (kidding), and research on Treehouse ( as well as a variety of other resources ), I have finally finished my first app made entirely in swift. Meet Studious , an app, that I hope, will make you think twice before opening up your homework planner. The goal for this app is to help students organize their exams, homework assignments, and notes all in one place. It provides notifications to remind you of when a task is due, and an email feature to help you contact your professors. With the help of the community I hope to make Studious an ongoing project. Unlike most other planners (which haven't been updated for quite awhile), I plan to strive for the betterment of students through frequent updates whenever time permits. I hope you all enjoy using the app if you are currently taking summer courses. And if you are not, it's an app, that I believe, is worth keeping an eye on. Thank you to all Treehouse Teachers, your work and effort in giving us the necessary skills to change our lives is extraordinary, and I appreciate it greatly.
As a gift, I'm giving away a couple of promo codes. Enjoy. Share it with family and friends. And if any of you are on ProductHunt and love the app, it would be awesome if you could post it there, or better yet, invite me over (@somnibyte) . :)

12,806 PointsThank you Marc. I give credit to my brother for the beauty of the app. When I first created the app, design was not a big priority, but when my brother stopped me from going ahead with my previous design, it opened my eyes to learning more about the aspects of design, and what it means to the user. And so during the months of development I would seek inspiration from various sites, and I finally came up with a design that would fit the app nicely.

12,806 PointsAlso I should rephrase the title, this isn't my first app, but my first app made in swift. Made a small mistake there. The last app was not made with any of Apple's programming languages, it was created with the Ionic framework, which helps developers create apps in Angular JS.
